Cats scratch sofa corners. Owners buy temporary shields that look temporary. We wanted one piece that protects the arm, satisfies the scratch, and still holds a lamp. That piece became the CozeCat Side Table.
Which constraints shaped the design?

- Three heights so arm height is not a gamble.
- Natural sisal cats accept, on a mat you can replace.
- Wood finishes (Walnut / Maple) that sit next to adult furniture.
- 50 lb top load for everyday human use.
Why replaceable sisal matters
Scratching surfaces wear. Throwing away a whole table is wasteful. Velcro-backed mats at $43.86 keep the frame in the room for years.
